R.I.P. Aubrey Cutlan

It is with saddness that we have to announce that a great friend and character Aubrey Cutlan recently passed away after a long illness. Anyone who knew Aubrey will be saddened by this terrible news, as I don't think I have ever heard a bad work said about him. Personally I have many fond memories of him, not least, when I first joined the club and he was standing at the bar with his usual smile on his face as he welcomed me to the club.
Club Chairman, Phillip Webster made this statement on hearing the news:
Sad news yesterday to hear that our friend and long time club member Aubrey Cutlan has passed away. Aubrey was involved with the club in various roles but for me the work he did for the youth section when we re formed in 1999 was invaluable. He was a close friend to many people at our club and elsewhere and will be missed terribly by all who knew him but in particular to Yvonne Cutlan and the family.
RIP my old mate.
 
Aubrey's family have asked us to pass on this message.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Aubrey Cutlan will take place at Llwydcoed Crematorium on Thursday 25th of August at 14:15. On completion, refreshments will be served at Abercwmboi Rugby club. All are welcome
